Stages of ski instructor certification include four levels, which correlate to increasing skiing and teaching competency. 

  • Professional Ski Instructor Level 1-4 

  • Licensed Professional Trainer (LPT)


The following provides a general overview of the PSIC core products and pricing for the 2025/26 winter season. View Course Overviews and the Course Schedule. PSIC membership is a prerequisite for course participation. Membership is included with Level 1 courses.

Level 1 professional Ski instructor

Components:

  • Online E-learning development tools

  • 3 days Teaching and Skiing Skills = $489 to $645 (location dependent)

       (Training and evaluation - ongoing assessment)

  • Includes first year annual membership ($99 value)

Components:

  • Online E-learning development tools

  • 5 days Teaching and Skiing Skills = $950 to $1110 (location dependent)

      (Training and evaluation - ongoing assessment)


*New for 2025/26 – the Level 2 Program is now delivered as a single 5-day course combining both Skiing and Teaching components, including training and evaluation. In select cases, separate 3-day Skiing and Teaching courses may still be offered.  â€‹
